Matt graduated from the University of Kansas with a mechanical engineering degree in 2016 and went straight into fire sprinkler design.
After four years in the field he earned his first PE license, then spent about a year at a fire sprinkler consulting firm before founding Rush Fire Protection in 2022.
Since then he has designed and stamped hundreds of projects across Kansas, Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, Tennessee, Nebraska, and Iowa.
